BredBånd Nord yet again chooses Tilgin for advanced triple play
Stockholm April 1, 2011: Tilgin, a leading provider of Home Gateway solutions for multiplay and next-generation broadband access, has won yet another order from BredBånd Nord in Denmark – this time based on Tilgins newly developed next generation full Gigabit platform. Bredbånd Nord will thus be able to continue to deliver unmatched performance to its Danish triple play customers.
BredBånd Nord is part of the fiberbroadband group Waoo! consisting of 15 Danish energy companies which offer advanced triple play services over fiber. With this order BredBånd Nord will be able to provide its customers services over a platform which enables full Gigabout routing and unmatched performance – something which is key to BredBånd Nord. The new products will be integrated into the existing overall solution from Tilgin which through remote management of services and features minimizes the operational costs for BredBånd Nord.
The order includes Tilgins Home Gateway Application software HGA570, Tilgins TR-069 remote management VCM5.7, Tilgins new Home Gateway based on the newly developed full Gigabit platform, and a new Multi Service Appliance (MSA) for easy fiber connectivity which also includes cable TV conversion.
The order value is in excess of 4 MSEK and deliveries are planned to start in June.
