Cyberintelligence experts asked to address global concerns of P2P networks

Pittsburgh, PA (August 31, 2012) – Tiversa, the cyberintelligence experts, has been invited to speak at the 2012 NATO Information Assurance & Cyber Defense Symposium being held at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), in Mons, Belgium from September 10-14. With more than 1,000 delegates expected from 28 NATO nations, Tiversa will be addressing the growing global concerns surrounding Peer-to-Peer (P2P) file-sharing networks.

“We are honored to be sharing our knowledge and experiences with technology leaders from around the world,” said Tiversa CEO Bob Boback. “There is no question that P2P is a global issue with more than 550 million users issuing billions in searches each day. It is our intention to demonstrate our capabilities to the delegates and provide to them a deeper understanding of how P2P networks are used globally for both legitimate as well as malicous purposes.”

For nearly 10 years, Tiversa has been working quietly behind the scenes with some of the largest governmental and business organizations in the world to provide an education about P2P and the lesser-known dangers associated with these networks.
