Moventis, part of the Moventia group which operates more than 800 conventional buses, is going to operate the ebus in the city of Sant Cugat. Both Moventis and the city council of Sant Cugat are convinced that pure electric, zero emission city transport is the way forward and have been impressed by the technology offered by BYD, the world’s largest producer of electric buses with many thousands of vehicles in service or on order.

Today at the UITP (International Public Transport Union) Congress in Milan, Italy, Mr Josep M. Marti, CEO of Moventis, witnessed by Mr Pere Aguilar from Sant Cugat City Council, signed a lease for the bus on the BYD stand.
