AP Racing stops at SEMA with Radi-CAL™ Pro 5000 R

Building on the success of its highly popular Pro 5000 series of motorsports calipers, AP Racing will give the global debut of its new Pro 5000 R calipers at this November’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

Drawing heavily on the company’s patented Radi-CAL™ design philosophy, this new entry-level caliper sets the benchmark for value and efficiency. The range of two-piece designs will initially consist of three calipers: two six piston and one four piston option.

The Radi-CAL™ revolution in brake technology began in 2007, and AP Racing’s advanced design process allows the concept to minimise structure and weight, while improving caliper cooling and without sacrificing rigidity. In turn this allows far lower operating temperatures of both the caliper and disc.

Taking the expertise and experience from its Formula 1 work, AP Racing has produced over 80 different Radi-CAL™ caliper designs to date, covering all major motorsport classes globally and supplying major road car manufacturers.

Despite its advanced features this entry-level motorsport range offers the same costing benefits as the popular Pro 5000 branded ranges.

The new Pro 5000 R will be unveiled on the stand of US distributor Essex Parts Services Inc. (booth 33301) on November 4, and will be displayed alongside a hand-picked selection AP Racing’s extensive range of motorsport components. An AP Racing engineer will also be on hand to answer any specific questions and provide more information.
