1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Pitney Bowes, and Brightpearl among Leading Organizations to Adopt Udemy’s Comprehensive Corporate Learning Suite

Since Udemy’s expansion into the corporate training arena earlier this year, over 2,000 globally recognized companies have embraced Udemy’s corporate workplace solutions. Forward-thinking learning organizations have taken a more holistic approach to learning, requiring flexible offerings to meet the needs of diverse learners and changing market conditions. Udemy for Organizations provides companies with a comprehensive corporate learning suite, including a new content subscription offering, an easy-to-use online course creation platform, and volume purchasing options.

Through Udemy for Organizations, learning officers are able to purchase content subscriptions for relevant professional development, create proprietary courses with Udemy’s course-building technology, or purchase volume content licenses from Udemy’s catalogue of over 10,000 courses. By selecting courses from Udemy’s rich content library, organizations are able to provide employees with industry-specific content to help them become more productive, or prepare them for technical and business certifications. Udemy’s on-demand and self-paced learning features also give learners the opportunity to consume content at any time and at a pace tailored to them. Currently, over 40% of the content consumed on Udemy for Organizations takes place via Udemy’s suite of mobile applications.

New advanced corporate learning features include Udemy’s Content Subscription solution, offering unlimited access to over 300 popular courses, starting at $29 per user per month (requires an annual contract); an analytics suite which allows companies to track team performance across departments; and a bulk course purchasing option. Udemy’s new Content Subscription solution gives employers the option to select various course titles from leading publishers, such as Wiley, Fitch Learning, Infinite Skills, and Training The Street, on topics related to Programming, Management, Finance, Human Resources, Sales and Marketing, and Web Design.

To meet business objectives and to rapidly deploy training programs, organizations such as 1-800-FLOWERS.COM have adopted Udemy for Organizations to reduce onboarding costs, provide consistent training, scale operations, and provide efficient and relevant business skills training.

“We selected Udemy for Organizations to help us create and share content on customer service, social media, finance, accounting, and office productivity to enable our global network of independent, professional florists to grow their businesses,” said Lisa Carmichael, vice president of marketing and new business development for BloomNet, a wholly-owned subsidiary of 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. “Udemy’s easy content-building and sharing technology offers our Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Human Resources teams flexible tools to build just-in-time blended learning programs that are both consistent and cost effective.”

“We’re on the cusp of a Golden Age in corporate learning. Workplace learning is changing tremendously to meet today’s market needs, and organizations are on track to revitalize their training programs. Consumer-grade technologies have infiltrated the professional training environment, providing organizations with easy-to-use and flexible tools to create new offerings focused on the ‘learner experience,’” said Dennis Yang, president and COO of Udemy. “We’re inspired by how our customers are using the Udemy platform to train employees, partners and resellers, and by the investment they’re making in skills development.”
