Utfors completed its important network structure phase at the end of
2000, and thereby entered a new phase of the Company's development where
focus has been put on sales and the supply of the Company's broadband-

Significant events during the second quarter and until the report date

* Demand for Utfors's "IP-Port" service remained considerable,
bringing the total number of contracted access points at June 30, 2001
to 996, of which 467 were added during the quarter.

* Additional significant orders for IP-Ports have been secured - with

Utfors completes loan syndication.

Utfors' financing now in place for future expansion.

A six-year Senior Secured Credit Facility for SEK 950 million was signed
on 11 July 2001. The loan replaces the previous syndicated credit
facility and provides the group with a financial base for its future
expansion. JP Morgan has arranged the loan syndication.
