The highest annual turnover for JSC „Valmieras stikla škiedra”

The not audited data of JSC „Valmieras stikla škiedra” assure, that the gross
turnover at 2012 is higher than ever – LVL 51.25 Million (EUR 72.79 Million).
It’s for 7% higher than for the same period at 2011. Having regard to this
indicator, the management of the company maintains the forecast for the
company’s’ financial results – the net profit in 2012 could reach LVL 2.65
Million (EUR 3.76 Million). 

„We have to be active to maintain the growth and we have to invest in new
technologies that assures the growth of the quality and production of our
salable products. This business is asking for enormous resources and the
competition is harsh. At the same time it all stimulate us to develop and to
find new solutions. In 2012 JSC „Valmieras stikla škiedra” cultivated its’
development, invigorated the positions in market and let the turnover to
growth. Our aim is to have much better results and the ability to ensure more
effective products with the high added value,” said Andris Oskars Brutans, the
Chairman of the Board. 

Through the construction of the new glass furnace, was 2012 a very important
year for JSC „Valmieras stikla škiedra”. This ensures the growth of production
capacity and the growth of quality. Parallel to this, we are recognized as the
best employer in Vidzeme and estimated as the one of sustainable companies in
Latvia. 

Also 2013 shouldn’t be less unique. The company is celebrating the 50th
anniversary. At July 1963 was the first glass fiber yarn won. 

The management of JSC "Valmieras stikla škiedra" informs that the not audited
financial statement of 2012 will be published considering the dates for the
publication of not audited financial reports at the home page of Nasdaq OMX
