PLEASANTON, Calif., May 8, 2013 – Ten years ago, document scanner veteran, Visioneer®, entered into a trademark license agreement with Xerox (NYSE: XRX) to develop, market, sell and support a new line of Xerox-branded document scanners. Since that time, Visioneer has successfully launched thirty-five new document scanners under the Xerox brand and delivered innovative solutions that help people capture and manage paper-based information in a digital world. Xerox DocuMate® scanners are now sold in over 100 countries worldwide; with great success in the United States, Russia, Mexico, Canada, United Kingdom, South America, the Middle East and South Africa.

Over the years, the relationship has been strengthened through Visioneer’s commitment to provide competitive product offerings, outstanding customer service and technical support to Xerox customers. The Xerox DocuMate product line has also earned awards from top industry media and analysts including Buyers Laboratory, PC Magazine, The New York Times and PC World Magazine.

“A partnership that began as an exploratory three year agreement has prospered into a strong and valued relationship,” said Craig Ephraim, director of brand licensing at Xerox. “By developing high quality and award winning products for the document imaging market, Visioneer has helped extend Xerox brand awareness to the next generation of office product consumers.”

“Visioneer began 19 years ago as a small company focused on providing imaging solutions that set the standard in quality and ease of use,” said John Capurso, president and COO at Visioneer. “We’ve since grown into a leader in the industry. We are all proud to be a part of an organization that has such a strong history and value structure. Our enduring partnership with Xerox speaks to the confidence that they have in us to continue creating innovative products that help people be more productive with their paper documents and the information they contain.”
