Vizrt signs broadcast graphics deal with television network in the Middle East

Bergen, Norway, August 19, 2013, Vizrt Ltd. (Oslo Main List: VIZ)

Vizrt Ltd. announced a deal worth USD 375,000 for the implementation of Broadcast Graphics products with a large television network in the Middle East. The network has been a Vizrt customer for many years and the new investment augments their existing systems to add a new studio, on-air graphics play-out, and creative capabilities for its news production.

The deal includes Viz Trio, Vizrt’s character generator (CG), that will reside in a new control room to allow operators complete control of live graphics during a broadcast. All graphics will be rendered in SD from several Viz Engines, Vizrt’s real-time compositing engine.

The network also purchased additional licenses of Viz Artist for SD and HD graphics creation in the design department. Viz Artist is a design tool for creating graphics and animations for use in all of Vizrt’s broadcast graphics products.
