Volvo Trucks issues redundancy notices

VOLVO TRUCKS ISSUES REDUNDANCY NOTICES Volvo Trucks has informed Länsarbetsnämnden, the County Labour Board, in Gothenburg, that 150 salaried staff in Gothenburg will be made redundant. In addition to this, redundancy notices will also be issued to 25 salaried staff at Volvo Parts, also in Gothenburg. Negotiations with the trade unions involved will begin today, Monday, on the redundancies, as well as the on background and scale.
