Reduced number of shares in Vostok Nafta

Stockholm, 2012-08-15 17:25 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 
Vostok Nafta Investment Ltd (“Vostok Nafta” or “the Company”) reports that the
5,451,284 Swedish Depositary Receipts (“SDRs”) repurchased by the Company since
May 2012 have now been cancelled, as have the underlying shares. Following the
cancellation, the total number of outstanding SDRs and shares in Vostok Nafta
Investment Ltd is 89,953,373. 

The Company does not hold any own SDRs or shares.
