96 new apartments for Pålsjö
Wallenstam is now starting the construction of 96 rental apartments in Pålsjö, Helsingborg. The apartments will be spread across 4 high-rise towers in red-brown color tones and are expected to be ready for occupation in late 2018. Willhem will acquire the property after completion according to an agreed entered into today. The agreed property value is SEK 229 million. The agreement entered into is a result of previous transactions between Wallenstam and Willhem that were carried out in 2015.
“We are happy to be now underway with our new production in Pålsjö where we will provide 96 apartments, ranging in size from one to three rooms and kitchen with balcony or patio in an area of outstanding natural beauty,” says Marina Fritsche, Business Area Manager, Residential.
The design of the four high-rise towers features red-brown tones, incorporating colors such as dark gold-ochre, burnt umber and dark ochre, drawing inspiration from the brick wall surrounding Pålsjö cemetery and the classic Helsingborg brick. The two outlying buildings will feature a lower ground floor in a reddish-brown brick, each with a darker reddish-brown shade in the façade.
The turnkey contractor for the construction is Bergman & Hook and the architect’s office is Arkitekthuset in Jönköping.
