Warwick Racecourse is hosting a ‘Celebration of Bollywood’ race evening as part of the Warwick Food and Film Festival in August.

The historic venue will mark 100 years of Bollywood with an open air Bollywood film on the world’s largest LED screen after the last race of the evening on the 21st August.

If that wasn’t enough, then all tickets for the main enclosure are just £10 and reduced to a mere £5 for Warwick residents (with production of photo and address ID for the CV34 postcode) when bought on the gate. As always, children aged 17 and under get in free when accompanied by an adult.

In keeping with the Indian theme, Asian food will be available across the site, including in the hospitality boxes, restaurants and food stalls.

Gates open at 3pm with the first of seven flat races at 5pm. Last race is at 8pm and will be followed by the film screening fifteen minutes later.

Huw Williams, general manager, Warwick Racecourse, said: “It’s very exciting for Warwick Racecourse to be involved in the town’s food and film festival with our ‘Celebration of Bollywood’ race evening.

“It’s definitely going to be a special night, mixing great horse racing action with fantastic entertainment and Indian food. Also, with tickets just £5 each for Warwick residents, then it’s very reasonably priced and an occasion not to be missed.”

This summer’s week-long festival of film and food is the first to be held in Warwick and runs from 17th to 25th August.
