Bronx, NY, January 7, 2014― Pop on your coziest PJ's and pop in to Wave Hill for our Target Free Hibernators' Weekend! Make an animal mask at the Family Art Project and hear tales of hibernating creatures. Flor Bromley will be sure to fascinate you with an interactive performance featuring fun tales of hibernation. Then bundle up for an outdoor adventure and marvel at the winter wonderland. Why would any creature hide from such fun? Astop in The Shop at Wave Hill rounds off the day with some cozy gifts that are sure to make you want to cuddle up. 

Events take place both days and admission to the grounds is free all weekend, thanks to the support of Target.

What: Hibernators' Pajama Pop-in!

Time: 10AM–1PM Family Art Project: Hibernators' Den 

Get to know your local hibernators through sleepy tales of the season. Then make your own furry bear, bat, toad or hedgehog mask, or fashion a dreamy, woodsy home.

           2-2:45PM Interactive Performance: Tales of the Hibernators! 

Enjoy as actress, sinter, storyteller, and songwriter Flor Bromley entertains us with the story of Bear Wants More by Karma Wilson and other fun tales of hibernation in her musical, interactive performances featuring original songs and friendly puppets.

Admission: Programs FREE with admission; admission to the grounds FREE all weekend, thanks to the generous support of Target.
