Wave Hill Concert Season Continues with Grammy Award-Winning Parker Quartet

Singled out by The Boston Globe for its “pinpoint precision and spectacular sense of urgency,” the acclaimed Parker Quartet returns to Armor Hall for a spectacular performance. The Quartet, currently in residence at Harvard University’s Department of Music, received a Grammy Award for “Best Chamber Music Performance” of 2011, and enjoys a full national and international touring schedule. On this, its second visit to Armor Hall, the ensemble opens with Prokofiev’s String Quartet No. 2 and is joined by guest artists to close the program with Schubert's beloved masterpiece, The Trout Quintet, for strings and piano. Come early to enjoy a leisurely stroll through the gardens and then settle in for an outstanding performance, starting at 2PM.
