Wihlborgs signs lease with LA Partners in Nyhamnen
Wihlborgs has signed a lease with the law firm LA Partners in Nyhamnen for 650 m2in the city block, Sirius, currently under construction in Nyhamnen next to Malmö Central Station.
LA Partners currently leases 360 m² in Börshuset, which is also owned by Wihlborgs and is located a stone’s throw from Sirius. In January 2018, it will move into the top floor in Sirius — into hyper-modern premises with its own roof terrace.
“The LA Partners law firm is expanding and we are pleased to continue to do this together with Wihlborgs. The firm has been located in Börshuset since 2004 and, with Wihlborgs help, gradually expanded within the premises. We are now taking the next step and are involved in planning these top-notch premises at Sirius, which are adapted to our future needs and in a prime location,” says the law firm’s most recently joined partner, Annika Edmén.

A floor of offices and a few ground floor premises for retail or service are still vacant in the Sirius block, but discussions are ongoing with a number of interested parties for this space.
Nyhamnen is the next major development area in Malmö and its proximity to the city centre and the station has led to the area sometimes being referred to as southern Sweden’s most central location. Wihlborgs already owns some ten properties in the area and has been allocated land for approximately 25,000 m2of additional office space.
