Oblong Industries At WORKTECH16 London

Oblong Industries will be presenting its ground-breaking immersive visual collaboration solution, Mezzanine™ at WORKTECH16 London, discussing how its dynamic and interactive technology is making the “Future of Work” a reality now.

London, 26 October, 2016 – Oblong Industries, pioneers of immersive, spatial technology for the new era of collaborative work, will be taking part in WORKTECH16 London, a forum for all those involved in the Future of Work, on 9th and 10th November 2016. The event will attract some of the biggest and brightest innovators to debate, discuss and divulge the latest thinking on the Future of Work and the digital workplace.

Oblong Industries will join senior workplace professionals from technology, real estate, facilities, executive management, architecture, design and professional advisors to further their knowledge and share expertise. The event takes place at Level39, Europe’s largest technology accelerator space, which occupies the entire 39th floor of the iconic One Canada Square building in London’s Canary Wharf.

The first day of WORKTECH16 London will focus on ‘Creating Workplaces of the Future’, which aims to explore new technologies, ideas and perspectives from experts, practitioners and thought leaders. Mary Ann de Lares Norris, Oblong’s Vice President EMEA, will be addressing the conference on; ‘Why It’s Time to Rethink the Workplace’. “We are looking forward to sharing Oblong’s vision for the Future of Work at WORKTECH16 London and discussing how our technology can help transform the workplace, by delivering Infopresence for a truly immersive, flexible and productive experience; energizing meeting collaboration and accelerating decision making.”

Oblong will have a stand at the event’s Innovations Exhibition and will be discussing with visitors how Oblong’s Mezzanine technology can seamlessly blend physical and digital environments, to create an immersive, shared workspace across distributed locations - making “sci-fi technology” a reality for enterprises today.

Oblong’s collaboration technologies anticipate the evolution of crucial business practices and are unique in delivering an immersive experience in three dimensional space, providing shared contribution, command, and control of all the pixels in the workspace. Driven by the need for a more advanced way to collaborate across teams and offices, companies like Accenture, NASA Aeronautics, IBM, PwC, and Dentsu Aegis Network now use Oblong’s technology – either by way of its flagship product, Mezzanine™, or as a custom-built solution – to deliver Infopresence. This capability allows their teams to visualize data and to link international participants and content in a more visual, engaging, and collaborative way. Infopresence literally surrounds teams in information, enabling better, more informed time-critical decisions.

Oblong will be inviting attendees to book appointments to experience its Mezzanine technology first hand, at its London demo centre.
