YIT St. Petersburg rewarded as a winner of the “Best construction quality 2014” competition

YIT’s housing complex Kima 1 has shared the first place in the “Best housing project” category of the “Best construction quality 2014” competition in Saint-Petersburg. Also YIT’s another project, business class housing complex Chapayeva 16 was chosen to a group of winners and was awarded the 1st class diploma. Awarding ceremony was organized in the end of September in Saint-Petersburg.



There are two categories in the “Best construction quality” competition: “Production of construction materials and structures” and “Construction projects”. Competition is organized  yearly by the Quality and Safety Committee of the construction sphere council of the North-western federal district. The competition is supported by the City board and the administration of the Russian President authorized representative. Also specialists of trade unions, non-commercial partnership organizations as well as universities and certification centers participate in the arrangements. Permanent organizer of the competition is ZAO Peterburgski stroitelnyi tsentr.

The aim of the competition is to support high-quality construction and to present the best construction projects to the city residents and to the public. The most important judgment criteria of the Jury are construction quality, existence of necessary permit documents, unexceptionable compliance with occupational safety rules, site order and cleanliness.



Housing complex Kima 1 is situated in the peaceful and comfortable area close to good services and transport connections in Primorski district in the north-western part of Saint-Petersburg. The project is planned to be completed in July 2015.



Business-class housing complex Chapayeva 16 is being constructed in historical Petrogradski district close to the city center of Saint-Petersburg. In National Romantic building there are original setback architecture, spacious terraces on top floors, cozy French balconies and Gothic tower with vanes as a dominant element. The project is planned to be completed in December 2015.
