Peldon Rose dig deep for Europe’s largest design and build project for Aker Solutions
Peldon Rose really struck oil with their latest design and build project for Aker Solutions. Aker Solutions - an oil and gas services company - were looking to expand into a space that would attract a new generation of engineers and allow them to grow as a company. They enlisted the expertise of Wimbledon based office design and build company Peldon Rose to help with this growth.
It was decided that the second largest and tallest building to date at Chiswick Park would be the perfect space for their London HQ. Peldon Rose has previously completed a number of projects at Chiswick Park, including Baker Hughes, Starbucks and Tullow Oil.
What makes this project different to any other design and build, is the fact that it is the largest design and build project in the U.K and one of the largest in Europe at a massive 212,000 square feet.
Peldon Rose transformed the huge existing traditional call-centre office set-up with angular clusters of adjustable sit-stand desks to create an environment where people can work creativity, collaboratively, and in a contemporary space.
Aker Solutions are thrilled with their new office design, and commented, “Peldon Rose worked with us to develop a high quality brief and delivered beyond our expectations.”
Now the project is complete, Peldon Rose has appointed a dedicated member of staff that Aker Solutions can liaise with if they experience any issues with their new office. This fulfils the core value; a client for life.
