Event: Glass returns to the Great East Window after six years of conservationMore than six years after the medieval stained glass was removed for conservation and restoration, it will be returned with the protective benefit of the latest in glass technology. York Minster will be the first building anywhere in the UK to use new, state-of-the-art, protective UV glazing panels manufactured by world famous German glass company Glasshϋtte Lamberts.
