On 27 June, Johanna Persson will take over the role of President and CEO of Adapteo Group. Until recently, Johanna has been the Chief Operating Officer of the Nordic organisation at the circular textile service company Elis. With this recruitment, Adapteo takes yet another step towards becoming one of the leading companies in sustainability in the European construction and real estate industry.

Adapteo is the leading partner in adaptable and circular building solutions in Northern Europe, and has an ambition to become a driving force in sustainability within the industry. It is on the basis of this ambition that Johanna Persson, who has been nominated several times for prestigious awards for her leadership and sustainability work, is now recruited as President and CEO.

“I am incredibly happy to welcome Johanna to Adapteo’s management and I am convinced that she, with her extensive experience in leadership and service towards both private and public customers, will be a strong addition to our company. Adapteo is on a growth journey, with numerous recruits and international establishments in the bag. The recruitment of Johanna gives us even better conditions to reach our goal of becoming Europe’s leading partner in adaptable buildings and a positive force for sustainability in our industry,” says Jens Moberg, Chairman of the Board of Adapteo.

Johanna Persson has solid experience in leadership and creating value for clients on a global arena. Before becoming COO for Elis’ Nordic organisation including the Netherlands and Belgium, she was CEO for Berendsen Sweden. Before that, she held several leadership positions in both Sweden and globally, at companies such as Nord-Lock and Duni.

“I am looking forward to becoming a part of Adapteo and getting to know all the new clients and colleagues. Just like the textile industry, the construction and real estate sector is facing great climate challenges. With a circular business model and ambitious sustainability goals, Adapteo has great opportunities of driving the transformation that the industry needs. At the same time, we have an ambitious growth journey ahead of us and to succeed in that, we need to collaborate closely with customers, colleagues and suppliers,” says Johanna Persson, new President and CEO of Adapteo.

Johanna Persson will take office on 27 June.
