Africa Energy Annual General and Special Meeting to be Held July 5, 2018

VANCOUVER, BC, June 8, 2018 /CNW/ - Africa Energy Corp. (TSX Venture: AFE) (Nasdaq First North: AEC) (“Africa Energy” or the “Company”), an oil and gas company with exploration assets offshore Namibia and South Africa, announces that its Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders will be held at Suite 2000, 885 West Georgia Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on Thursday, July 5, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. (Pacific Daylight Time) for the following purposes:

  1. To receive the consolidated financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2017, and the report of the auditor thereon.
  2. To appoint PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP as the Company’s auditor to hold office until the next Annual General Meeting with remuneration to be fixed by the Company’s directors.
  3. To fix the number of directors at six (6).
  4. To elect directors to hold office for the ensuing year.
  5. To consider and, if thought fit, approve an ordinary resolution ratifying and confirming the Company’s 10% rolling stock option plan as described in the Management Information Circular.

The record date for the Annual General Meeting is May 31, 2018. The Notice of Meeting, the Management Information Circular and related meeting materials will be available under the Company’s profile on SEDAR at www.sedar.com and on the Company’s website at www.africaenergycorp.com.

Holders of Euroclear Sweden Registered Shares
