£15 million refurbishment to Hotel Eden Roc, Ascona to include new spa - opening April 2010

Hotel Eden Roc, on the shore of Lake Maggiore closes for 5 months to refurbish the spa and join the newly acquired Hotel Ascolago, to form The Eden Roc Marina. From April 2010, The Eden Roc on the shore of Lake Maggiore will offer its guests a new spa extending over an area of 1500 square meters. At the same time, the adjoining former Hotel Ascolago with its 16 rooms and spacious restaurant is being taken over and given the name ‘Eden Roc Marina’. The Tschuggen Hotel Group are investing what will be more than 25 million Swiss francs on the projects The Spa will be set within the existing property with extensive views over Lake Maggiore. The interior design lies with Carlo Rampazzi, who is renowned for his striking shapes, intense colours and extravagant accessories. In addition to the indoor and outdoor pools, 7 individual treatment rooms, a hydropool with whirlpool and spacious sauna world will take pride of place and a wealth of massages and treatments will be offered from a range of products including Kanebo, Dermalogica, and OPI.
