A New Chef takes the Culinary Helm at Baros Maldives

Baros Maldives is delighted to welcome internationally-acclaimed chef, Peter Alexander Fritz, as the resort’s new Executive Chef. As the resort’s Executive Chef, Peter Fritz is to run and oversee the culinary design of Baros Maldives, constantly coming up with new dishes and taste sensations to delight guests’ palettes. Chef Peter has extensive experience spanning 33 years within the Asia Pacific region, most recently holding a position with the Four Seasons Group. Previous key positions have also been held with Hyatt, as Executive Chef of the Grand Hyatt Jakarta and Bali Hyatt Resort, and with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. Chef Peter was Executive Chef at Baros Maldives in 2002, then named Baros Holiday Resort, before the upgrade to it’s current 5* status. During this time he assisted in the foundation work that made Baros Maldives a leader in fine dining in the Maldives.
