NEW : The Black Legend Monaco Opened 29th October 2009 by Prince Albert of Monaco The ultimate supper club, The Black Legend has opened in Monaco - one of the most glamorous cities in the world. Opened by Prince Albert of Monaco, the glamorous first night party featured the Supremes and Martha Reeves and The Vandellas. Based on the spirit of Motown music The Black Legend is an ultra chic restaurant, lounge bar and disco. Opening times are from 12 noon until 5am. The evening begins with a live band followed later in the evening by a DJ playing the greatest hits from the Motown era. Situated opposite the Monaco yacht club, The Black Legend features a large terrace with spectacular views over the harbour. The décor harks back the 1970’s Manhattan with a glamorous mix of vintage and modern furniture. Created by Antoine Chevanne, CEO of Groupe Floirat, the Black Legend feels very much like an exclusive private club, similar to Les Caves du Roy in Saint-Tropez, another of Chevanne’s high-end establishments.
