Axel Johnson International’s Lifting Solutions business group is expanding its European presence of lifting know-how to Poland. Built on recently acquired IWRC in Wloclawek, the Certex Polska branch will from the beginning of April provide lifting solutions to end-customers within shipping and industrial applications.

The creation of Certex Polska is an important step in Lifting Solutions’ strategy to grow both organically and through acquisitions. With Certex Polska, the Lifting Solutions business group is adding another company and country to its group of 23 companies across 15 European countries.

Poland is one of Europe’s strongest economies with robust underlying growth supported by ongoing investments in construction and infrastructure projects, creating high underlying demand for quality lifting solutions.

“We know that local presence is a key success factor in our industry and with Certex Polska we have the right resources to tap in to a whole new market," says Stefan Jagelid, Regional Director Baltic Sea, Lifting Solutions. "This is a great piece of the puzzle for future expansion in eastern Europe.”

Certex Polska's Branch Manager, Przemysław Banaś, sees great opportunities for the company “With the support of Lifting Solutions we are now able to expedite the development of our business and better serve the local market,” he says.
