Lifting Solutions appoints new financial director

Axel Johnson International’s Lifting Solutions business group has appointed Claes Fredlund to the management team as financial director. He will be an integral part of the acquisition process and continue to drive collaboration in the business group through forums and work groups.

Fredlund joined the group in 2016 as a project manager for business development, working with a range of acquisitions and business development projects.

Before joining Axel Johnson International, he worked in operations management and business development in several companies in Sweden, the UK and China. This experience includes serving as operations director at OSM and working with business development at Nicoccino, where he was responsible for setting up and developing the marketing, investor relations and digital sales development teams.

“Claes has years of valuable experience in a number of different functions and countries, including production and sourcing as well as business development,” says Ralf Wiberg, Managing Director, Lifting Solutions. “He is an important addition to the management team, bringing valuable knowledge and new perspectives.”

Axel Johnson International’s Lifting Solutions business group is a global player in lifting equipment, steel wire rope, height safety equipment and related services. The business group today has 25 companies in 15 countries across Europe, with annual sales of EUR 290 million.
