Bonava appoints Carl Rietz as SVP for Processes & Technology

Residential developer Bonava has appointed Carl Rietz as Senior Vice President for the new Group function Processes & Technology, with the responsibility to transform design and technology in order to increase productivity. Carl has extensive experience in driving change and production efficiency. He will take up his position on 1 September 2019 and be a member of Bonava’s executive management group.

Carl’s long experience of working with improving efficiency, procurement and digitalisation will be an important asset in our work to industrialise, modularise and simplify our processes, says Joachim Hallengren, President and CEO of Bonava. 

Carl Rietz has broad experience from various executive positions and different industries. Carl has held various positions such as COO at Volvo buses Mexico SA, Business Unit Manager for Kemwater at Kemira Oy and most recently as CEO merging smaller enterprises within the manufacturing industry. He has also worked several years as a Management consultant both with McKinsey and EY. Carl has a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management at Linköping Institute of Technology in Sweden, and is aged 48.
