Bonava has agreed to acquire two areas of land north of Copenhagen from DSB Ejendomme, and one area in Örestad on the outskirts of central Copenhagen from By & Havn. These three land acquisitions will enable Bonava to build approximately 207 housing units. Combined with the land acquisition in the Municipality of Greve that was announced on 21 March 2018, Bonava Denmark has now added a total of 463 building rights to its portfolio.

- We have made four land acquisitions close to Copenhagen in a very short time. We see high demand for affordable housing in areas where people want to live, which is in line with our offering. All land acquisitions are part of our strategy to increase our market share in the Copenhagen metropolitan area, says Joachim Hallengren, President and CEO of Bonava.

The recently conducted land acquisitions are in the municipalities of Hörsholm and Gentofte, where in total 115 apartments, respectively, have been planned, and in Örestad in the Municipality of Copenhagen, where 92 apartments have been planned. All neighbourhoods are within easy commuting distance of central Copenhagen, and close to public transport, green spaces and shops.
