Bonava carries out investor transaction and sells 164 rental apartments in Linköping

Bonava is to sell a rental project in Linköping, Södra Ekkällan, Sweden, to Bantorget Hyresbostäder for a price of approximately SEK 311 million. The transaction includes 164 rental apartments across four buildings. The project will commence once the building permit has gained legal force and is expected to be recognised in profit from the first quarter of 2020. 

-  We have built 450 housing units in Södra Ekkällan to date and we are continuing our development of the area with this rental apartment project. We are proud of how the neighbourhood has evolved into a vibrant area and we are pleased with our partnership with both the Municipality of Linköping and Bantorget, says Fredrik Hemborg, Business Unit President, Bonava Sweden.

The rental apartment project is situated only a couple of kilometres south of Linköping city centre but is still close to the Tinnerö nature reserve. Pre-schools and a supermarket are located conveniently nearby.
