Bonava sells 162 rental apartments in Västerås
Bonava is selling a rental project to Lansa Fastigheter AB. The transaction comprises 162 rental apartments situated in the new Öster Mälarstrand district of Västerås, Sweden. Production in the project is expected to commence in the third quarter of 2020, and it will be recognised in profit in the fourth quarter of 2022. The parties have also signed a declaration of intent regarding an additional rental transaction, which is expected to be concluded in 2020.
“With this transaction we will be able, together with Lansa, to offer more Nordic Swan Ecolabeled, newly constructed and well-planned rental apartments in a central and attractive location in Västerås. Rental apartments are an essential part of our strategy and vision of creating happy neighbourhoods where people have the highest quality of life,” says Fredrik Hemborg, Business Unit President, Bonava Sweden.
The project is included in the second of three phases in the Förseglet block where Bonava will, over time, build around 500 homes in the same neighbourhood. The two buildings in question will offer residents a unique view across the city.
