New Head of Design and Production at Bonava Sweden

Johnny Vollmer has been appointed new Head of Design and Production at Bonava Sweden. He will become a member of Bonava Sweden’s management team.

– With Johnny Vollmer’s solid background in housing production and strong leadership, he will play a key role at Bonava. As head of our Swedish organisation for design, production, purchasing, sustainability, safety and VDC, Johnny Vollmer will advance Bonava’s efforts focused on standardised processes, cost control, digitalisation and a higher degree of industrial construction, says Fredrik Hemborg, Business Unit President, Bonava Sweden.  

Johnny Vollmer was most recently employed at housing developer JM, where he served as production manager in Stockholm and head of JM’s production of housing units in Stockholm Municipality for the past ten years. He holds an MSc in Civil Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. 

Bonava’s department for design and production is responsible for creating affordable, well-planned homes in happy neighbourhoods on the basis of customer insights. Bonava increases efficiency and reduces its costs by operating its own design studio, employing a digitalised way of working and centralising purchasing.  

Johnny Vollmer will assume his position on 10 February 2020.
