BRISTOL CELEBRATES 1 NEW AIRCRAFT, 5 NEW ROUTES & ADDITIONAL FREQUENCIES 1 MILLION £1 SEATS FOR TRAVEL DEC - JAN

Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, announced today (19th November) that it will add one new Boeing 737-800 aircraft (now 5 in total) and open five new routes (now 35 in total) at its Bristol base from February 2010. This brings Ryanair’s investment in Bristol to five aircraft worth over $350 million. The 5 new routes from Bristol to Faro, Gdansk, Treviso, Palma and Valencia and increased frequencies to Malaga and Malta will increase Ryanair’s annual traffic at Bristol to over 1.3 million which will sustain 1,300 local jobs. Ryanair celebrated the announcement of this further expansion of its Bristol base, by releasing 1 million £1 seats for travel across its European network from mid December until the end of January which are available for booking before midnight Friday 20th November on www.ryanair.com. Speaking in Bristol today Ryanair’s Laszlo Tamas siad: “Bristol today celebrates its 5 Ryanair aircraft and 5 new routes from February 2010. These new flights go on sale tomorrow. With a total of 35 low fare routes from Bristol this summers travellers in the South West can beat the recession by choosing Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges to exciting destinations all over Europe.
