Bupa’s Victoria Manor Care Home, Albert Street, Edinburgh, is looking forward to celebrating St Andrew’s Day on Monday 30 November from 2pm to 3pm. The event will feature music from Muckle Ado, a folk song trio made up of Gordon Ingles, Colin Frost and Dave Britain who will be entertaining staff and residents with some favourite sing-along tunes from Scotland and Ireland. All three musicians play instruments including guitar, mandolin and banjo and will be performing some of their favourite hits including: Whisky In The Jar, Skye Boat Song and Whip Jamboree. The home is inviting friends and relatives to attend and join the residents and staff for a fun musical afternoon. Sue Donaldson, home manager of Bupa’s Victoria Manor Nursing Home, says: “We’re all looking forward to welcoming Muckle Ado back into the home. They performed at this event last year and they were such a success that we had to invite them back. It will be a great event and a fantastic way to celebrate St Andrew’s Day.”
