Bygghemma Group expands its range to include more than 800,000 unique products

Over the past six months, Bygghemma Group First (BHG) has expanded its product range to include more than 800,000 unique products, up from 500,000 unique products at the end of the third quarter 2019. This increase is attributable to a combination of rapid organic growth of external and proprietary brands and the acquisitions of Outl1.se, Lindström & Sondén AB and Hemfint.se. As a result, BHG now has about five times as many unique products in its product range compared with its closest competitor in the Nordic region, within both the DIY and Home Furnishing segments.

BHG’s President and CEO, Adam Schatz, comments: “Having a leading product range is central to the Group’s sales strategy. We expanded our product range considerably last year as well as during the start of 2020. We are rapidly approaching a total product range of one million unique products in the Group, which represents a milestone in our goal to offer the market’s premier range of leading external brands and affordable proprietary brands in our markets and segments.”

A market-leading product range, comprising both proprietary and leading external brands, combined with an extensive service offering and the market’s most accessible product expertise, showrooms, the company’s own delivery service and an internal installation network form the foundation of BHG’s strategy (the BHG Ecosystem) and its journey towards achieving the Group’s financial goal: SEK 10 billion in sales and an EBIT margin of 7 percent in the medium term.
