UK women have spoken and the results are in - showing that a massive 49 per cent would kick the X Factor lotharios out of bed, preferring a good night's sleep instead.

In an independent survey commissioned by Patch-It sleep patches (www.patch-it.info), 1,066 women made up the judging panel and decided that neither Simon Cowell or Dermot O’Leary would be making it through to the Judge’s Houses. Simon scored lowest of the two, with only five per cent of women agreeing to snuggle up to the high-trousered one, compared to a more respectable 11 per cent of ladies looking to dive under the duvet with Dermot. Bond hunk Daniel Craig got the female vote, with 13 per cent of women wishing he would whisk them away for the night of their lives. One fifth of the 984 men surveyed in the latest Patch-It sleeping partner survey said they would like to fight for the covers with Cheryl Cole, but Xtra Factor presenter Holly Willoughby only received a vote from 15 per cent of the lads – proving that gentleman sometimes don’t prefer blondes. Aussie stunner Dannii Minogue barely registered on the radar, with just seven per cent of the vote. And 29 per cent of men were so overwhelmed by the choice of Simon Cowell’s reality beauties that they couldn’t choose! Patch-It (£9.99 – www.patch-it.info) are the original plaster-style reflexology patches that have been independently proven to improve quality of sleep by 40 per cent (1).
