At 10 am today, Clas Ohlson opened a new store in Ljungby, Sweden. The store is located in Ljungbyporten, one of the most popular shopping centres in the region.

The new store is a Clas Ohlson Compact Store, a store in a smaller format, but as usual it is filled with smart products and practical solutions.

“This is our first Compact Store outside the Stockholm area and we have had our eyes on Ljungby for quite some time so it feels great to finally open a store here in a prime location. We have prepared well and the project team in place has done a great job,” says Fredrik Uhrbom, Country Manager Sweden at Clas Ohlson.

The Clas Ohlson Compact Store in Ljungby has a catchment area of approximately 30,000 inhabitants.

Clas Ohlson was founded in 1918 as a mail order business based in Insjön, Sweden. This year, we are celebrating 100 years as a business with customers in five markets, approximately 5,000 co-workers and annual sales of approximately 8 billion SEK. Our share is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. A lot has happened since the start in 1918, but one thing has remained the same over the years; that we want to help and inspire people to improve their everyday lives by offering smart, simple, practical solutions at attractive prices.
