The online web-to-print design tool, Design’N’Buy has completed its acquisition of PrintCommerce. As part of the takeover, Design’N’Buy has revamped the PrintCommerce product and will now re-launch the service in its own portfolio.

PrintCommerce is a complete business solution for print service providers. It couples the power of product personalization with integrated web-to-print and eCommerce solutions. The concept allows retailers to offer a ‘personalize it yourself’ service to their clients, giving live previews powered by the PrintCommerce system for everything from t-shirts to coffee mugs. When the order is finalized, it creates print ready files which are emailed to the store owner, so the purchase can be fulfilled.
Design’N’Buy developers have spent several months deconstructing, developing and improving PrintCommerce, ahead of unveiling the acquisition under the web-to-print expert’s own brand. Significant changes include a much improved mobile and tablet compatible design studio with more advanced creative capability for those creating designs from scratch and more compelling pre-designed templates.
The best part of PrintCommerce was its ability to run on multiple ecommerce platforms such as OpenCart, Prestashop and NopCommerce. This feature has been carried forward into the new version and Magento added.
A fully loaded and wholly user-friendly Design Studio module is now mobile compatible, giving any business offering product personalization valuable opportunities to boost revenue and better connect with shoppers on the go. A completely customizable user interface is backed by multi-language localization tools. The studio also now supports personalize from scratch and pre-decorated products, offers an array of product and cart configurations, clipart, editor features and updated design ideas.
The more responsive and mobile ready Storefront module also makes powerful, smart web design quicker and easier. Users are given more control than ever, with multi-store set-up, built in stock control, better product and catalog browsing functionality, personalization and checkout options.
There are advanced settings for printers including CMYK output and SVG files, streamlining the entire process from ordering to fulfillment for any business, offering any number of web-to-print products.
