EMO 2017: Advantech and Alleantia team-up to accelerate Industry 4.0 and WISE-PaaS developers’ time to market
August 24th 2017, Munich, Germany – Advantech, a world leader in Industrial PC and embedded solutions, today announced a major new partnership with Italian IoT innovator Alleantia which will integrate its Industry 4.0 Plug & Play solutions with the powerful Advantech WISE-PaaS platform, accelerating IoT developers’ efforts to build tailored solutions for any sector.
WISE-PaaS is an open software marketplace providing a range of software solutions and pre-configured packages designed to make Industry 4.0 a reality by speeding time-to-market for IoT developers.
The addition of Alleantia’s Plug & Play solutions will be a major boost for developers building tailored solutions for all sectors: from machine tool and automated warehouses builders, to bottling and packaging plant suppliers.
Alleantia’s Xpango database of 4,500+ machine drivers simplifies the connection of “things” to the internet. In combination with Advantech IoT solutions, it will provide a complete toolkit to digitize traditional business models and enable new revenue streams in the machine tools and other industries.
At their joint booth at EMO 2017 (Hall 25 - Stand B60), Alleantia, will also present its IoT ecosystem of Apps, Certified Application and OEM Partners, featuring Advantech.
