The manufacturer of electric compact commercial vehicles Sevic is further expanding its board of directors and is bringing Eric Saint-Frison, a marketing strategist and expert in the digitalization of sales processes in automotive distribution, onto the board at the beginning of November 2022. Saint-Frison will work alongside the Sevic Senior Management team to further drive the company's expansion and will be supporting for the areas of sales, digitization and the operational business. "Fueled by the strong demand at IAA Transportation, we will be able to deliver the first Sevic V500e vehicles in Europe in the coming weeks. We have already successfully established the sales and service infrastructure for Germany, Italy and Poland, with other countries to follow shortly. We are all the more pleased to have gained an experienced management partner in Eric Saint-Frison, who has developed and implemented new ways of marketing vehicles innovatively and with great vision over the past two decades says Alexander Brilis.

In the past, Saint-Frison has been able to demonstrate his ability to innovate in several companies and startups. After holding various positions at Shell, in the automotive industry and Ford - most recently as President Ford Motor Company France and Managing Director Ford France (2001-2006) – Saint-Frison was successful as a founder, consultant or in a management role with various companies around the digital transformation of automotive processes.

Saint-Frison sold the two startups he founded, Go Between Conseil and Digital Dealer, to the French Argus Group back in 2014. He then joined Argus Group as a Chief Innovation Officer. After three years alongside the group, he restarted his independent strategy and digital consultant activities with clients as Société Générale, Motor K or TCHEK.

"Hardly any other industry is currently undergoing such rapid change as the mobility sector. I see a great opportunity here, especially for young and fast companies that can implement new processes within a very short time and thus react to consumer behavior and new market impulses. The consistent exploitation of these opportunities is also important to me in my Role at Sevic," says Saint-Frison, looking forward to his new Missions.

During the development of the compact transporter, much emphasis was placed on a wide range of applications and scalability. The patented cargo swap system, for example, ensures that the transport superstructures can be exchanged quickly.
The V500e is also flexible in terms of range and purchase price: the standard battery size with 16.5 kilowatt hours (kWh) and a range of up to 150 km costs €24,900 net (plus body and transfer); the long-range model with a 33 kWh battery and a range of up to 300 km (confirmed by TÜV Nord) is available for €29,500 net plus body and transfer.
