  • L7e class electric compact van with up to 300 kilometer range is perfect for use in and around urban areas
  • Sales, service and maintenance in Poland via ANG Vehicle Technologies

Bochum/Mielec, 07.07.2022: The European manufacturer for electric compact transporters, Sevic, is expanding its activities to Poland. The new V500e premium model will be distributed there nationwide by ANG Vehicle Technologies, a company specializing in innovative designs and special solutions for electric and other alternative fuel-powered vans and trucks. ANG also provides delivery, maintenance and repair services in Poland using these so-called "flying doctors".

The V500e is a compact L7e-CU class electric van, ideal for use in urban areas. The modular vehicle with its attractive design is built in Europe. More than 80 percent of the components used also come from European production. Sevic's corporate headquarters are located in Bochum, Germany. Thanks to near- and reshoring, Sevic has access to an extremely stable supply chain and an excellent spare parts supply.

During the development of the V500e, great importance was attached to a wide range of applications and scalability. For example, the SEVIC V500e is very compact and therefore highly maneuverable, especially in many urban areas. With a length of 3.7 meters and a width of 1.37 meters, the vehicle is perfectly suited for moving between parked trucks even in narrow alleys or commercial areas.

Range of up to 300 kilometers

When it comes to electric vehicles, range is a powerful argument for many customers. The Sevic V500e, which travels at around 80 km/h, can cover up to 300 kilometers on a single charge, which is more than enough for deliveries in and around urban areas. The necessary power is provided by a 33-kWh battery that can be fully charged in about five hours. The manufacturer also offers smaller batteries with 16.5 kWh and a correspondingly shorter range of around 150 kilometers.

Another advantage is that by exchanging the superstructures, users can switch from a closed transport box to a flatbed within a few minutes, for example. The V500e can therefore be used to combine several vehicles in one. This makes the V500e particularly attractive in situations where high efficiency and operational reliability are required while budgets are clearly calculated.

Compact van may use bus lanes

"The Sevic V500e is a completely new offer in Poland, aimed at companies for which urban transport is one of the key elements of their business activities. The vehicle fits perfectly into the current trends of electromobility and zero emissions, while ensuring low operating costs and shorter delivery times. Thanks to the possibility of using bus lanes, travel times can be greatly reduced, especially during rush hour. It was also important to us that the vehicle is 100 percent manufactured in Europe. This means we can guarantee our customers punctual delivery of the vehicles. This gives us a great advantage in the market," says Daniel Węgrzynek, CEO of ANG Vehicle Technologies.

"We are looking forward to working with our new partner ANG Vehicle Technologies. Their great passion and innovation will help us to significantly shape urban electric mobility in the commercial sector in Poland together," says Sevic General Manager Alexander Brilis.

The Sevic V500e will be available from September. Orders can now be placed directly with ANG Vehicle Technologies.
