Citi Appoints Country Head for Denmark

Citi has appointed Michiel Reijnoudt as Country Head for Denmark. He previously served as Head of the Public Sector group for Citi in Netherlands. Michiel replaces Andrew Man who has assumed a new role for Citi in Corporate Banking, EMEA based in London.

He will report to Alexander Stiris, Nordics Cluster Head, who is also Nordic Corporate Banking Head and Country Head for Sweden.

Michiel joined Citi in 2000 and has held a number of senior positions within the firm in both Corporate and Investment Banking in a number of geographies. He is a senior banker with experience from both developed and emerging markets. He has worked in London, Cairo and most recently in Amsterdam.

Citi has been present in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden for over 40 years and has done business with Nordic clients for more than 100 years. With this key Nordic appointment, Citi’s underscores its commitment to continue to grow the Nordic franchise across the different business areas.
