AUD 25m awards for DOF Subsea Asia Pacific’s Geobay

DOF ASA’s subsidiary, DOF Subsea has secured multiple contract awards in Australia over recent weeks with a combined value of AUD 25 million (USD 22 million) for the Asia Pacific based DP 2, multi-role support vessel ‘Geobay’. The Geobay in direct continuation from a successful work campaign in Bass Strait will join the Geosea in undertaking construction support work on Australia’s North West Shelf until mid December. The vessel will then be modified with the installation of a drilling rig to undertake a significant geotechnical drilling program. The geotechnical program is a first for DOF Subsea and opens up a new and growing market for DOF Subsea in Australia.
