Duni subsidiary Rexcell Tissue & Airlaid AB will invest approximately 50 MSEK in upgrading the airlaid machine in Skåpafors, Sweden.

The investment will increase the airlaid capacity at Rexcell by about 25% annually. The plan is to have the capacity upgrade installed during the second quarter of 2018. Duni’s airlaid material is utilized in producing Duni’s key napkin brands including Dunilin® and Dunisoft®.

“This investment comes at a time when demand for premium materials for napkins is on a rise. As a market leader in airlaid napkins across Europe, we will now have additional capacity to respond effectively to customer demand”, says Johan Sundelin, President and CEO of Duni AB.
