Credicorp Capital AM will be fully integrated into East Capital’s investment process, working directly with team members focusing on Latin America, and providing advisory support on the current macroeconomic and political environment, as well as detailed and timely analysis of target investment and divestment opportunities.

The partnership reflects the shared investment philosophies of East Capital and Credicorp Capital AM, combining extensive financial analysis with a local approach and frequent company meetings, and recognizing the value of incorporating ESG standards into the investment process, which favours companies with long-term, sustainable growth perspectives and responsible owners.

Peter Elam Håkansson, Chairman and CIO of East Capital, says:

“This cooperation with Credicorp will provide East Capital with deeper insight into markets in Latin America. We believe the investment style of East Capital and Credicorp are very compatible, reflecting the value of a long-term focus and ESG integration. We expect their input and market knowledge to significantly enhance our investment capabilities in Latin America.”
