DNA begins collaboration with Kimi Räikkönen

DNA has won a partnership contract with Kimi Räikkönen, Formula 1 World Champion. DNA will support Kimi Räikkönen's first season as a rally driver. This is not the first partnership between DNA and Kimi Räikkönen, as earlier DNA supported Kimi Räikkönen's career when he was entering the Formula 1 series. The collaboration will be launched in the Arctic Lapland Rally, starting this Friday, and continue throughout the 2010 WRC season. "Kimi Räikkönen and his new career in rally driving represent one of DNA's key values, courage. Collaboration with Kimi comes naturally to us, as we have supported him earlier at his career's turning point, when he began his F1 career with Sauber. As rally driving has an importance place in Finnish hearts, not only the person but the sport was an easy choice to DNA," said Erik Sylvestersson, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, DNA Ltd. "It feels good to continue with a Finnish partner who I have known for years. DNA has a great, relaxed approach, which suits both me personally and the world of rally," said Kimi Räikkönen. The partnership between DNA and Mr Räikkönen will be launched at the end of this week with DNA sponsoring him in the Arctic Lapland Rally, starting this weekend in Rovaniemi, Finland. Mr Räikkönen will front DNA's marketing during the spring. The partnership deal between DNA and Mr Räikkösen covers the coming season.
