Dynea to build resin plant in Nanjing, China

Dynea, a global leader in adhesive and surfacing solutions, is constructing a plant in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China that will produce high quality adhesives for the manufacture of wood based panels and flooring, automotive and engineering applications as well as non-woven fibre materials. The new plant, located in the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park where Dynea has more than 40,000 square metres of land, will have an annual capacity of some 100,000 metric tonnes of amino and phenolic resins. The plant is expected to commence production during the first quarter of 2011. Based on Dynea’s technology, the plant is designed with a focus on efficiency, safety and minimized impact on the environment. The total investment of nearly € 10 million also takes into consideration future expansion needs. Strategically located near the growing markets in Shandong, Jiangsu & Zhejiang, the Nanjing plant is some 250 km north of Shanghai on the bank of the Yangzi River and easily accessed by water, road and rail. “China is one of Dynea’s key markets.
