Finnish game company Nitro Games investigates the possibility of listing on Nasdaq First North Stockholm
Nitro Games Oy (“Nitro Games” or the “Company”) has decided to investigate the possibility of listing its shares on Nasdaq First North Stockholm. The Company is moving towards a self-publishing model, and believes that listing in Stockholm would provide increased attention and brand awareness among customers, the games industry as well as other stakeholders. Additionally, the Company believes it will be able to attract external capital more easily, in order to support future growth.
Nitro Games is a Finnish game company founded in 2007. In the early years the Company focused on developing games for publishers on different platforms. In 2013 Nitro Games decided to make a transition in its strategy and change its focus exclusively to mobile games. Based on this strategy the Company developed a technically strong and time-efficient platform (the “NG Platform”) in order to be able to launch a portfolio of free-to-play mobile games to the mid-core user segment. The power of the NG Platform has already been validated and market proven through game releases with selected publishers.
The NG Platform makes it possible to do rapid prototyping, development and operation of games as a service. This means a significantly reduced time-to-market for the Company’s games. With Nitro Games’ Minimum Viable Product (“MVP”)-process the Company has developed and market tested several real-time multiplayer mobile games during the second half of 2016. Currently the Company is focusing on the game with the most promising performance.
