HP julkistaa alan kattavimman ohjelmisto-ohjatun verkon pilvessä

Innovaatiot yksinkertaistavat, skaalaavat ja automatisoivat konesaliverkkoa

HP julkisti verkkoratkaisun konesaleille, joka on rakennettu HP FlexNetwork -arkkitehtuurille. Aikaisempiin fabric-verkkoratkaisuihin verrattuna nyt julkistettu arkkitehtuuri tuo ketteryyttä tuplasti isomman skaalattavuuden kautta(1). Verkko on myös 75 prosenttia yksinkertaisempi (2), ja se lyhentää käyttöönottoaikaa kuukausista minuutteihin (3).  

Kun yritykset siirtyvät pilvipohjaisiin ympäristöihin, vanhat verkkoarkkitehtuurit eivät pysy kehittyneiden sovelluksien vaatimusten perässä. Organisaatiot kamppailevat myös olemassa olevien, monimutkaisten fabric-pohjaisten konesaliverkkojen kanssa. Ne täytyy määritellä manuaalisesti laite kerrallaan. Ne rajoittavat myös runsaasti kaistanleveyttä vaativien sovellusten suorituskykyä.

HP vastaa näihin haasteisiin joukolla ohjelmisto-ohjattuja konesalikytkimiä. Ne tuovat käyttäjille edistyneitä automaatio-ominaisuuksia ja parantavat runsaasti kaistanleveyttä vaativien sovellusten, kuten Hadoopin, skaalattavuutta (4). Uutuuksiin kuuluu HP FlexFabric 12900, joka on alan ensimmäinen OpenFlow’ta hyödyntävä ja skaalautuvien  työkuormien kasvaviin vaatimuksiin vastaava keskuskytkin (4).
