P&G valitsi HP:n tehostamaan toimitusketjuaan

HP ilmoitti tänään, että Procter & Gamble (P&G) on valinnut HP:n sovellustuen pyörittämään sen Always On -toimintaympäristöä.  Nyt julkistettu sopimus on jatkoa yritysten hiljattain solmimaan infrastruktuurin palvelusopimukseen.

HP on tukenut P&G:n infrastuktuuri- ja sovellusympäristöjä sekä useita yhtiön liiketoimintaprosesseja yli yhdeksän vuoden ajan. Uuden sopimuksen myötä HP on vastuussa useimmista liiketoimintakriittisistä sovelluksista, joita P&G käyttää talous- ja toimitusketjujärjestelmissään. Näihin kuuluvat esimerkiksi tutkimus ja tuotekehitys, varaston hallinta, SAP-toiminnanohjausjärjestelmä ja liiketoimintatiedon hallinta.

HP tulee integroimaan P&G:n järjestelmät — myös muiden toimittajien järjestelmät — ja rakentamaan standardoidumman, luotettavamman ja läpinäkyvämmän teknologiaympäristön. Uudistuksen avulla P&G odottaa parantavansa toimitusketjunsa laatua ja tehokkuutta sekä vähentävänsä toiminnan kuluja kautta linjan.

HP Applications Development Services ja HP Applications Management Services -palvelukokonaisuuksilla on kattavia rajapintoja asiakkaiden, tuottajien, vähittäismyynnin, jakelun ja kuluttajien kanssa esimerkiksi portaalien, reaaliaikaisen integraation, mobiilisovellusten ja e-laskutuksen kautta. HP on esimerkiksi kehittänyt hallinnoimansa sovelluksen, joka antaa vähittäiskaupantyöntekijöille tietoa kuluttajan aikaisemmista kosmetiikkaan liittyvistä ostoksista. Tiedon avulla henkilökunta voi paremmin ohjata ja auttaa kuluttajaa ostopäätöksen tekemisessä.

Tunnustuksena ratkaisujen ja palveluiden laadusta ja operationaalisesta toimivuudesta P&G myönsi HP:lle syyskuussa External Business Partner Excellence Award -palkinnon. Tämä palkinto jaetaan vain 0,1 prosentille P&G:n globaaleista toimittajista.
